GREAT NEWS!.......

Yes....the courts passed inspection this morning. The park is closed Monday for holiday.

Come Tuesday, it has been a long 6 weeks but many positive things have come out of all of this.  I do want to personally thank all of you for being so understanding.  Now we all, as RPRA members, have a reason to be proud of our facility and to help maintain their beauty.

The RPRA Board, will be rescheduling the "Grand Opening Member Appreciation Social" and will get the date out on that soon.  We have more landscaping planned and may be asking you all to help us with that.

Court equipment - here's where we really need your help.  All of us are aware of the financial problems around us and particularly with county departments like Parks & Rec.  RPRA has to now take care of equipment such as rollers, brushes, caddies/waste baskets, etc.  We can no longer ask Parks & Rec for help with these items as they have in the last few years. As Captains, I am asking you to pass the word to your players to be a little more aware.  When you have finished using the rollers/squeegees please hang them up to prevent them drying with a flat side and cracking.

If you see kids climbing the fence, pulling back the fence to get a ball, throwing rocks, coming onto the courts with cleats or anything else that might damage our new fence or court surface, please ask them to stop or get the court attendant.  These are your courts and a great facility.

Ladies - when you call in your reservations for Tuesday practice you may now request the hard courts. Please remember however, it is first come, first serve on the courts and please only 2 courts per team.  The reservations are put down in the order in which come on the recorder.  THURSDAY matches are now back to the original court assignments...no more farming off to Kiwanis.  We were fortunate to have Kiwanis at our disposal.

Well, I think that covers everything.  Now let's PLAY HARD AND HAVE FUN!
